Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram and Senator Sarmad Ali Meet with Mr. Javlon Vakhabov, Director of the International Institute for Central Asia in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

On October 26, 2024, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) along with senator Sarmad Ali visited the International Institute for Central Asia, and met with Mr. Javlon Vakhabov, Director, International Institute for Central Asia, Tashkent, Uzbekistan and the management of the Institute.
During the meeting, they discussed various important topics, including regional connectivity and how to enhance and broaden cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. They appreciated the remarkable work of the Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram in enhancing regional connectivity between South Asia and Central Asia. They acknowledged PRCCSF's efforts in promoting economic integration, infrastructure development, and cultural exchange as contributing to progress and prosperity of the region.
Senator Sarmad Ali further commended the International Institute for Central Asia for its impactful work, reinforcing the notion that collaborative efforts in these areas can lead to significant advancements for both countries. The meeting underscored a shared commitment to strengthening ties and pursuing holistic cooperation to benefit their respective societies.
