Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha Wins 10th Anniversary International Contest “Kazakhstan Through the Eyes of Foreign Media”


On 19 September 2025, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the winners of the 10th anniversary international contest “Kazakhstan Through the Eyes of Foreign Media.” Among the awardees, Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha, Patron-In-Chief of the media house The Gulf Observer and Member Board of Experts, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) secured top recognition in the Digitalization category for his insightful work titled “Role of Astana Hub and Digital Transformation of Kazakhstan.”
The prestigious competition, held annually since 2014, recognizes international journalists who creatively and objectively present Kazakhstan to the global audience. This year’s contest attracted participation from over 100 media representatives and bloggers across more than 30 countries.
Entries showcased diverse perspectives on Kazakhstan’s history, culture, tourism, education, investment potential, cuisine, and international relations, presented through various formats, including print and online publications, blogs, podcasts, and television programs.
As part of the prize, winners will be invited to visit Kazakhstan for an immersive cultural and professional experience. The program includes visits to Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and the Turkestan region, offering participants a closer look at Kazakhstan’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Winners will also engage with Kazakh government officials, experts, journalists, and cultural figures, and experience the traditions of the steppe nomadic civilization.
Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha’s recognition highlights Pakistan’s growing engagement in global media platforms and underlines the strong cultural and informational exchange between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
