Pakistan-Azerbaijan Brotherly Relations: Future Cooperation: Radio Interview

On 4th April,2023, Ambassador of Azerbaijan His Excellency Khazar Farhadov, appeared in a live radio interview at Planet FM 87.6 (Radio Pakistan). The worthy Ambassador was interviewed by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF.
During the interview, The Ambassador talked about Bilateral Relations between Republic of Azerbaijan and Islamic Republic Of Pakistan. The two countries are enhancing strategic and economic relations to improve trade. They have signed future agreements based on mutual trade and cooperation. Pakistan and Azerbaijan are very good trade partners. Azerbaijan is an oil producing country, they are looking forward to increase trade and bilateral investment in this sector. Both states are also working on ‘Pakistan-Azerbaijan Pipeline Project’. Pakistan is exporting many equipments such as agricultural products, industrial products, sport goods etc. Both countries have taken initiatives to open up new horizons for cooperation which includes exchange of students, direct flights from different cities and tourism for people to people contact. The education system in Azerbaijan is also advanced for the foreign students who can apply for scholarship program to study in their universities.
Pakistan strongly supported Azerbaijan on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Pakistan has never recognized Armenia as a country and stands with Azerbaijan in all these years.
The worthy Ambassador expressed his gratitude to towards Pakistan at all levels for always supporting Azerbaijan and showed great feeling of respect and solidarity between both states. Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram thanked the Ambassador Khazar Farhadov for his efforts in bringing two states close together.
