His Excellency Mr. Shahzad Nawaz, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Culture, Arts and related Communications visited University of the Punjab, Lahore

On 20th December 2021, His Excellency Shahzad Nawaz, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Culture, Arts and related Communications & Management of PRCCSF visited University of the Punjab, Lahore. During the visit, a detailed meeting was held with Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, Lahore and senior management of PRCCSF and the University.
PRCCSF management included Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh SI(M) (Retd), Vice President (Punjab Region), PRCCSF and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF. The meeting focused on the ways and means to enhance cultural, educational and historical links.
During the meeting, Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar briefed the participants about the Department of Arts & Culture and Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He stated that they are the most prestigious department of the university with very rich and experienced faculty. We have several contributions in promoting the initiatives related to the art and culture of the country.
Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Dr. Fouzia Hadi Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center, University of the Punjab, Lahore and Prof. Dr. Sumera Jawad, Principal, University College of Arts & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore were also present during the meeting.
