Meeting of His Excellency Shahzad Nawaz, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Culture, Arts and related Communications with Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore

On 20th December 2021, His Excellency Shahzad Nawaz, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Culture, Arts and related Communications & Management of PRCCSF visited University of the Punjab, Lahore and met with Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Pakistan Studies and senior management of the department and PRCCSF.
PRCCSF management included Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh SI(M) (Retd) , Vice President (Punjab Region), PRCCSF and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF.
During the meeting, Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore briefed the participants about this department. He stated that the Department of History and Pakistan Studies is the oldest department of the university. It has earned recognition owing to its high standard and expertise in a wide range of historical disciplines. It enjoys the status of being a premier institution with the most experienced faculty.
His Excellency Shahzad Nawaz appreciated the efforts of the Department and stated that it is a pleasure to witness that the academicians of the country are contributing a lot in this regard.
