Meeting between H.E Aybek A. Usmanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, and Mr.Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director PRCCSF

On 3rd August 2021, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad, and had a meeting with H.E Aybek A. Usmanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan. During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram appreciated the initiative of the two days International conference on Central & South Asia: Regional Connectivity, Challenges & Opportunities held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan in July, 2021. He was of the view that the conference was an excellent opportunity to promote regional connectivity. Moreover, the reforms made by the Uzbek President are also commendable.
It was also discussed that bilateral academic, research, cultural, and trade cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Pakistan are the keys to stronger ties between both countries.
The ambassador acknowledged PRCCSF’ significant role in enhancing academic research linkages and people-to-people contact between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
