Meeting of His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad and Dr. Fouzia Hadi Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center, University of the Punjab, Lahore

On 21st May 2021 Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF, and Dr. Fouzia Hadi Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center, University of the Punjab, Lahore visited the Embassy of Tajikistan in Pakistan and had a meeting with His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan.
During the meeting, Pakistan-Tajikistan bilateral ties and enhancing academic institutional cooperation were discussed. New avenues for promoting research in matters of concern for both, countries were also brought under consideration.
Opportunities and scholarships for students of Tajikistan by the University of the Punjab, Lahore were also discussed.
Furthermore, future initiatives by Regional Integration Center and PRCCSF to promote people-to-people contact were also explored.
His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin appreciated and applauded the efforts of PRCCSF for cementing diplomatic and academic ties between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
