Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, ED, PRCCSF visited the International Institute for Central Asia at Tashkent, Uzbekistan

On 8 July 2023, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the International Institute for Central Asia, and met with H.E. Ambassador Anvar S. Salikhbaev, Head of Research, International Institute for Central Asia, Tashkent, Uzbekistan and the management of the Institute.
During the meeting, they discussed various important topics, including regional connectivity and how to enhance and broaden cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. They appreciated the remarkable work of the PRCCSF in enhancing regional connectivity between South Asia and Central Asia. They acknowledged PRCCSF's efforts in promoting economic integration, infrastructure development, and cultural exchange as contributing to progress and prosperity of the region.
The International Institute for Central Asia serves as a platform for expert discussion of the prospects for regional cooperation and the development of scientifically substantiated proposals for multilateral projects in various fields.
It was agreed that PRCCSF and the International Institute for Central Asia will work together to contribute to the cooperation through research projects to strengthen regional partnership for ensuring peace and prosperity in region.
