Uzbekistan Media interviews Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, International Observer on the arrangements / election process of the Presidential election 2023, in the Republic of Uzbekistan

On 9th July 2023, presidential elections were held in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF, is on a visit to Uzbekistan as an International Observer in the presidential elections to monitor the electoral process.
During his visit, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram gave interviews to different Uzbek Media Houses and briefed them about his impressions of the conduct of the elections. He talked about how this milestone achievement will pave the way for positive societal transformation, fostering stability, trust, and effective governance. He said that this election serves as a testament to the resilience of democracy and the commitment of the government of Uzbekistan to the well-being of the public.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram gave interviews to ten TV channels, including UzReport, Renessans TV, Channel MY 5, Gazetaa UZ, O’zbekiston 24, and also to Russian TV Channel Rianovosti.
During these interviews, he also appreciated the arrangements made by the Election Commission of Uzbekistan and commended the government authorities, political parties, and citizens for their commitment to upholding the integrity of the electoral process. This successful outcome signifies a significant milestone in strengthening democracy in the electoral system.
