Azerbaijan Government's Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) Awards Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram

On 19th July 2023, an award ceremony took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, at the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) on the occasion of announcement of winners of the Republican and International Scientific and Practical article writing on "A state with a strong economy is capable of everything". Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram (Executive Director) of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) announced as a winner by the Economic Scientific Research Institution (ESRI), along with the other winners in different categories.
The Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the esteemed son of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, the creator of the political and economic system of Azerbaijan, the founder of the ideology of Azerbaijanism, and the initiator of the process of national self-awareness in Azerbaijan, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2023 "Heydar Aliyev" Year" was announced.
One of the most important and strategically significant directions of the Great Leader's activities, based on the principle "A state with a strong economy is capable of everything!", was to realize an economic policy in line with the demands of transitioning to market relations, to rescue the country's economy from crisis, and to set it on the path of revival and subsequently development. This was a development model for new Azerbaijan by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
In this regard, an competition was held by the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) to present the contribution of the economic and institutional reforms implemented by the efforts and initiative of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the economic development of Azerbaijan and to promote the study of the current socio-economic course of Azerbaijan.
The award ceremony was attended by the award winners and was hosted by Mr. Mahir Humbatov (Chairman of the board of Directors of Economic Scientific Research Institute) and Professor Arzu Huseynova (First Deputy Chairman of board of Directors of Economics Scientific Research Institute, Chairperson of the competition commission)
