Inauguration of "shared future bazaar" took place at magnus mall, a project of house of Elaan in Islamabad. Dedicated floor is being allocated in the upcoming magnus mall for the shared future bazaar with the purpose of connecting through commodities, with China and Central Asia. Professor Dr. Li Hauling, Dean of Institute of Community with Shared Future, Communication University of China, Beijing, who is currently on visit to Pakistan, inaugurated the bazaar in the presence of a large number of people.
The House of Elaan Management briefed the Chinese delegations about this project and said we want China and Central Asian countries to invest in Pakistan and do more trade.
This unique market will not only retail imported goods from China and Central Asian countries in Pakistan but also provide a platform to export Pakistani products to China and Central Asian regions.
Prof. Li Huailiang, Dean of ICSF remarked during the ceremony that the project would leverage the CPEC route.
He drew parallels between the history significance of trading through the ancient Silk Road and the modern transformation of that route into the CPEC.On this occasion Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF said that Magnus Mall will be a flagship commercial project will specifically help Chinese and Central Asian investors to showcase their products. He emphasized that the objective of the Shared Future Market is not just to introduce Chinese products but also to bridge landlocked Central Asian countries with China and Pakistan. Mr Ovais Ali Khokhar, Chairman, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future and CEO House of Elaan said that Pakistan - China friendship is very deep and this new shopping mall dedicated to the concept of Community with Shared Future given by President Xi Jinping. He added that this mall wil enhance the CPEC's connectivity through Commodities.
