Experts praise China's proposals & actions for Global Community of Shared Future

On 2nd October 2023, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Centre for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited University of Punjab, Lahore and met with Professor Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman History and Pakistan Studies Department and Dr. Irum Khalid, Chairperson, Department of Political Science and International Relations University of Punjab, Lahore. During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram presented a pamphlet titled "A Global Community of Shared Future: China's Proposals and Actions" by The State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China.
Professor Dr. Mahboob Hussain expressed his appreciation for China's proposals and actions in promoting a community with shared future, and he thanked Mr. Akram for sharing the pamphlet. He also expressed admiration for China's remarkable achievements in recent decades and acknowledged its role in promoting global cooperation and peace. He emphasized the importance of understanding and promoting the concept of a community with shared future by all countries for a harmonious world.
Dr. Irum Khalid echoed similar sentiments and emphasized the need for more research and dialogue on this concept. She also commended China's efforts in building a community with shared future and expressed hope for deeper collaboration between the two countries in this regard. She further suggested that the university could organize a seminar or workshop on the topic in the future. Akram welcomed the idea and expressed his willingness to collaborate with the university for such an event and other future activities promoting the concept of a community with shared future.
During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram highlighted the key points of the pamphlet which focuses on China's vision and proposals for building a shared future for the world.
