International Think Tank Forum (2023) on "Building a Community with Shared Future & Belt and Road Initiative organized at Wuhu, Anhui, China


On October 26, 2023, the International Think Tank Forum (2023), titled "Building a Community with Shared Future & Belt and Road Initiative," was held in Wuhu, Anhui, China. This forum was jointly organized by the Communication University of China and Anhui Normal University, China, with the goal of paving the way for a future marked by mutual benefit and prosperity for all.
The forum, with its grand vision, emerged as the vanguard in uniting the academic community worldwide to foster academic cooperation and drive the pursuit of a harmonious community founded on shared aspirations and goals.
The speakers conveyed their insightful analysis on strengthening exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, emphasizing key dimensions for building a community with a shared future that leads mankind toward win-win cooperation and peace while fostering enhanced people-to-people connectivity. Accomplished experts passionately debated the profound impact of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on their respective economies, recognizing its pivotal role in promoting sustainable development.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, the Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, took center stage as the main keynote speaker. He shared his insights on "Belt & Road Initiative's Role in Economic Cooperation".
The Belt and Road Initiative extends an array of opportunities to the global community at large. It stands as a testament to the potential for cooperative endeavors to foster sustainable development, unity, and prosperity across borders. In his address, he also shed light on the historical significance of the Silk Road, its alignment with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and its pivotal role in the grand tapestry of economic globalization.
