Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram visited Communication University of China at Beijing

On 25 April 2024, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram visited Communication University of China at Beijing. He was warmly received by Prof. Li Huailiang, Dean of the Institute for a Community with Shared Future (ICSF), Communication University of China (CUC), Beijing, China.
The meeting was notably attended by the management of the Institute for a Community with Shared Future (ICSF), Prof. Zhang Yanqiu, Deputy Dean of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, and Director of Africa Communication Research Centre; Prof. Wang Sixin, Deputy Dean of ICSF; Prof. Wen Chunying, Deputy Dean of ISCF, CUC, Beijing, China, and Dean of the School of International Studies; Ms. Sun Yuhong, Section Chief of the Confucius Institute Management Office; Ms. Li Zhe, International Affairs Manager; Dr. Zhong Wanchu, Distinguished Research Fellow at ICSF; Dr. Zhang Suqiu, Associate Professor; Prof. Liu Fenghai, Deputy Dean; and Dr. Ge Yanling, Section Chief of the Office of ICSF, CUC, Beijing, China.
They expressed heartfelt appreciation for PRCCSF's pivotal role in promoting regional connectivity and fostering win-win cooperation. They also acknowledged PRCCSF's efforts in promoting economic integration, and cultural exchange as contributing to progress and prosperity of the region. also discussed the exploration of potential future research projects and engaged in collaborative efforts aimed at further advancing knowledge and enhancing cooperation in a wider academic sector.
They also appreciated Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram's significant contribution to championing the concept of a community with a shared future, as envisioned by President Xi Jinping. Additionally, his remarkable efforts have greatly influenced the global academic community in support of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Mr. Shabbir Ahmad, Member Board of Experts of PRCCSF, was also currently visiting China and attended the meeting.
