Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram visited the Headquarters of China Media Group (CMG) in Beijing

On 26th April 2024, the China Media Group invited Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future to their Headquarters in Beijing. He was warmly welcomed by Ms Zhaoqiao, Senior Director of China Media Group (CMG) and Ms. Wanq Qianting of CMG.
During their meeting, Ms. Zhaoqiao and Ms. Wang Qianting expressed their appreciation for Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram's efforts in promoting the concept of a community with a shared future and his valuable contributions to fostering bilateral relations between Pakistan and China. They also acknowledged his work in highlighting the benefits and importance of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to both countries.
The discussion further delved into the potential of media in strengthening people-to-people contact and enhancing mutual understanding between the two nations. It was agreed upon that CMG would continue to play an active role in advocating and promoting BRI and CPEC to their audiences, while also emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges and increasing people-to-people contact between China and Pakistan.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram expressed his admiration for CMG's efforts in shaping public opinion and fostering a positive image of China in Pakistan. He also appreciated their role in promoting the concept of a community with a shared future and emphasized the need for continued cooperation between the media of both countries.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also praised the working of Islamabad Studio of China Media Group (CMG), stating that it is playing very positive role in enhancing the people-to-people contact between Pakistan and China.
