On 11th June 2024, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF) had a detailed meeting with His Excellency Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province at Governor House, Peshawar.
During the meeting, H.E Faisal Karim Kundi expressed admiration for the work of PRCCSF and its efforts to promote the concept of a community with a shared future. They discussed ways to further advance this idea among the general public and strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between China and Pakistan. Mr. Akram highlighted that dedicated research forums would be established to enhance Pakistan's connectivity through the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Additionally, the meeting involved discussions regarding joint activities and future projects related to the Belt and Road Initiative and regional connectivity, aimed at promoting bilateral relations between China and Pakistan and enhancing cultural and research collaborations.
The team from the Regional Connectivity Centre at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University in Peshawar, Pakistan, and the Vice-Chancellor of Gomal University in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan, also attended the meeting, contributing to the discussions on enhancing regional cooperation and academic collaborations.
