Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram Attends as Chief Guest at Event Honoring Renowned Writer Ms. Samina Tabassum


On 7th August 2024, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), graced the event as the Chief Guest. The event was hosted by the Pakistan Youth League Wah Cantt at the POF Guest House in Wah Cantt. The main aim of the event was to honor the literary contributions of Ms. Samina Tabassum, who recently returned to Pakistan from Canada.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram appreciated the contributions of Ms. Samina Tabassum to Pakistani society and the well-being of the public through her literary works. He introduced the audience to the mission of PRCCSF, emphasizing its role on the Belt and Road Initiative and regional connectivity. He also expressed a strong commitment to future collaboration with the Pakistan Youth League on various initiatives and projects.
Ms. Samina Tabassum, a renowned Pakistani-Canadian writer, poet, and travel autobiographer, has authored 15 books, including notable titles such as "Humaray Pushtono ki Sarzamin," "Operation Swat," and "Zuban-e-Khal." Her work gained a profound depth and spiritual dimension following the tragic loss of her younger brother, Lt. Farrukh Tipu Shaheed. This personal tragedy inspired her to document the sacrifices of the Pakistani armed forces through two significant books that feature interviews with military personnel.
