Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram Participates in Roundtable Discussion on “Dispute Resolution and Arbitration” organized by the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) at Islamabad

On 30th January 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram participated in the Roundtable Discussion on “Dispute Resolution and Arbitration” organized by Research Society of International Law (RSIL) held at Islamabad.
During the session, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram had the privilege of meeting with Professor Dr. Umar Oseni , Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Centre (OIC-AC) , Istanbul ,Turkiye who was also the Chief Guest at a thought provoking session, which was hosted by Honorable Mr. Ahmer Bilal Soofi, Former Federal Law Minister and Founder of Research Society of International Law (RSIL) at Islamabad.
The discussion addressed various aspects of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, exploring the challenges and opportunities for improving legal frameworks in Pakistan. Key stakeholders gathered to analyze the ADR mechanism and discuss a way forward.
The session was also attended by esteemed legal experts, including:

Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram also presented his book titled “Building a Community with Shared Future: A Hope for Mankind” to Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Umar Oseni who remarked on the book's valuable insights concerning the Belt and Road Initiative and regional connectivity.
