Meeting between His Excellency Adam M. Tugio, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan, and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad


On 8th October 2021, a meeting was held between H.E Adam M. Tugio, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan, and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Islamabad.
During the meeting, it was decided that PRCCSF and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia will initiate joint projects in various domains including education, economy, and culture. Both the institutions agreed to make efforts in order to further enhance the academic ties between the two countries, Pakistan and Indonesia. Furthermore, different academic projects were finalized which included student and faculty exchange programs, fellowship programs, etc. It was also decided that academic collaboration between Indonesia and Pakistan will be supported by ensuring academic opportunities are available for students in these countries.
Additionally, projects highlighting the importance of cultural similarities between Pakistan and Indonesia were also stressed upon.
Both the institutions, PRCCSF and Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Islamabad also discussed the important role which they and similar institutions can play to strengthen the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
