Meeting of His Excellency Shafqat Ali Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad in Moscow, Russia

On 25th June 2021 Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited the Embassy of Pakistan in the Russian Federation and had a meeting with His Excellency Shafqat Ali Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, it was agreed that think tank level cooperation between Russia and Pakistan is of utmost importance. This cooperation will contribute to the academic and diplomatic ties of Pakistan and Russia.
It was also discussed that joint research projects should be encouraged between the scholars of Pakistan and Russia for a fruitful exchange of knowledge and information.
The Ambassador was of the view that people-to-people contact is the cornerstone of bilateral ties. Hence, it is an area that must be focused on by the relevant stakeholders of both countries.
