Round Table Discussion on, “Belarusian-Pakistani Relations: State and Development Prospects” organized by the Department of International Relations at the Academy of Management Under the Aegies of the President of the Republic of Belarus


On 29th September 2021, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), Islamabad visited the Academy of Management Under the Aegies of the President of the Republic of Belarus. During his visit, he met with the senior management of the academy including the Rector of the Academy of Management, V.V. Danilovich, and the first Vice-Rector O.N. Soldatova.
The round table included the director of the Research Institute of Theory and practice of Public Administration, heads of departments, teaching staff, and students of the academy as well.
It was also attended by the head of the department Valery Matsel, associate professors of the department Tatiana Bibik, Alla Shevtsova, and students of the International Student Club of the Academy of Management Mezhdunarodnik. During the round table, reports were heard and issues of intensifying bilateral trade and economic cooperation and the current situation in Afghanistan were discussed.
The participants of the round table also discussed possible areas of cooperation and points of contact of interest, exchanged contacts, and expressed the hope that such events will be organized in the future.
During his address, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF discussed the potential areas of cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus. He also discussed that both countries have great potential that must be discovered. He also praised the rapid economic development of Belarus.
Mr. Khalid Taimur invited the scholars to cooperate in research and exchange of information as well.
